Laurie Passero is the founder and CEO of MedPic, LLC, which provides medical cost containment services to insurance companies, self-funded groups, third-party administrators, reinsurance companies, brokers, worker’s comp carriers and individuals. Founded in 2004 and formerly called Pickett Consulting, MedPic is dedicated to reducing the cost of healthcare.

With 20 years of experience in the medical cost containment industry, Laurie has been the leading force behind the growth of MedPic to become a trusted and reliable resource for clients seeking to better manage their healthcare costs. Laurie has taught medical billing and coding at Weatherford College and served as an expert witness throughout the nation regarding healthcare reimbursement costs.

Laurie and her family live in Poolville, TX, where she actively volunteers with many local community organizations. A cancer survivor, Laurie has a calling to help women, who have been through a traumatic experience.
