MISSIE KRAMER
Missie is ecstatic and amazed to see how God is placing together the pieces of His master plan. This vision has taken nine years to fall into place. God has finally said, "NOW is the time." She is standing firm and taking action!
Missie Brooks Kramer attends Trinity Temple Assemblies of God in Arkadelphia, Arkansas (Rick Mays, Senior Pastor). She is a wife, mother, and grandmother and has lived in Arkadelphia for about nine years. Missie was raised in Hot Springs Arkansas (graduated from Hot Springs High in 1977). She and her husband moved to Denver, Colorado and lived there 26 years, during which they attended Jubilee Church in Lonetree, CO (John Leach, Senior Pastor).
Her mother is Hettie Lue Brooks and father Don Brooks (now with Jesus). Missie's parents own Brookhill Ranch Youth Camp just outside of Hot Springs near Hot Springs Village, (a youth camp for children founded in 1964, accommodating 2,000 children throughout each summer). Hettie Lue started Christian Ministries Church in 1972 in Hot Springs (5 miles from Hot Springs Village), and her brother, Tim Brooks is now the pastor. The Church, along with Christian Ministries Academy School K-12, Applied Life Bible School and High Point (a camp for high school age) were all founded by her family. Her mother started Hot Springs Women of Prayer in 1992 and is still going strong even in her mid-80's. Hettie Lue has been holding women's seminars twice a year, consistently for 40 years and 400 women attend every year.
In 2008, God spoke to Missie and her husband John to move from Denver to Arkadelphia. Even though they didn't know the reason for this move until NOW, they said, "Yes, Lord!" Missie has been assisting her mother with the ministry of the seminars for the last several years since returning to Arkansas. She has never known a day of her life without the Lord, however, she has walked through some challenges as her youngest son battled cancer for seven years. To share the challenges of dealing with cancer, she published a book in 2011 titled, "My Son Has Cancer, Now What?" Her son is now healed, married and ministering around the world. Praise the Lord!! Her oldest son, wife and three children work with their church in Texas serving the Lord in many different capacities.
Missie's husband John stands by her, supporting her and helping her walk-in wisdom in all that God has called her to do. She is thankful to God for blessing them with a wonderful family and a 35-acre ranch. Her heart's desire is to allow the Lord to lead and guide her through what He wants to do. Missie feels honored to be surrounded by Godly women who share her vision and are taking a vital role in helping her accomplish God's plan. She is grateful for their personal prayer life and godly wisdom.
God's hand is moving, and Missie has been given the opportunity to say, "Yes." in taking action on what He is speaking: Women of Prayer United: The prayers that save a generation.
